Super excited to have just recently completed a South Africa Tourism certification program as a South African Specialist. In addition to the South Africa Essentials Certification course I also completed and passed additional training modules that focused on history, topography-scenery, roots and culture, luxury travel, wellness, action adventure, wildlife and deep blue plus. What this means for current and prospective clients, is that I now have the additional knowledge and expertise that will enable me to add tremendous value to my clients when designing the perfect South Africa travel experience.
South Africa is such an amazing and diverse destination Over 9 years ago during a family volunteer vacation with my son and daughter, I fell in love with South Africa. The history, culture, wildlife, scenery, food and wine are incredible. It is what I like to call – affordable elegance. Over the years, I have made many friends which make the destination even more special to me.
As the cradle of civilization much of its natural beauty remains untouched. From unspoiled beaches on the Wild Coast, to the beautiful Garden Route and the Western Cape Wine Country, South Africa is an extraordinary destination. It offers something for everyone including wildlife and nature lovers, adrenaline junkies, wine lovers, foodies, wellness and fitness enthusiasts, historians individual and group travelers. Some of the interesting activities include Horseback riding, Bungee jumping, hiking Table Mountain, as well as visits to local villages and townships make South Africa the perfect backdrop for a volunteer vacation, cultural immersion or educational or service trip. Great Shopping too!! After visiting the Eastern Cape and taking this course, I must say that the Eastern Cape is quickly becoming my favorite province.
In the coming weeks, we will post more trips to South Africa offering distinct opportunities to experience to totally immerse yourself in the people, life, culture and history of the destination. We will also offer packages that will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s birth – packages that will allow to travelers to walk in Madiba’s footsteps while learning more about this global icon in a new and different way.
So looking forward to sharing more of South Africa with more people. So looking forward to seeing you there.
