Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation – IAH Airport- Oct 25, 2016 10:00 AM –11:30 AM CDT

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.

Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked in countries around the world, including the United States. It is estimated that human trafficking generates many billions of dollars of profit per year, second only to drug trafficking as the most profitable form of transnational crime.

Presented by the Airline Ambassadors, The Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation has been developed specifically for the airline industry.  This free program will provide participants with a better understanding of the magnitude and impact of human trafficking as well as its impact on victims.

After the presentation participants will be able to identify the warning signs of human trafficking as well as be empowered with information to appropriately make a report.

Concerned citizens, as well members of the Airline, Hospitality and Tourism industries are encouraged to attend.
